Accreditations for the certification of quality management systems
The VdS Certification Body is accredited by the Trägergemeinschaft für Akkreditierung GmbH (TGA) for certifications of:
- Quality management systems in accordance to DIN EN ISO 9001 acc. to ISO/IEC Guide 62, DIN EN 45012 and EA 07/01 and primarily certifies fire protection and security technology companies.
The accreditation is valid for the following branches of industry:
- Manufacture of rubber and synthetic goods,
- Glass industry, ceramics, processing of stones and earth,
- Manufacture of metal products,
- Mechanical engineering,
- Manufacture of office machinery, data processing equipment and installations, electrotechnical, fine mechanics, optics,
- Data processing, information technology,
- Architecture and engineering offices,
- Completion of services for companies (local application, alarm rooms, money and value services, retrofitting companies, fire brigades, cleaning services),
- Completion of other public and personal services (planning, installation and maintenance of fire protection and security technology).
The VdS Certification Body is accredited by the Zentralstelle der Länder für Sicherheitstechnik (ZLS) for certifications of:
- Quality management systems in accordance to GSPG and EU regulation 97/23/EG
