Inspection Services

The VdS Inspection Services are a unique service center for fire loss prevention within Europe. It provides a comprehensive service program and care in all questions of fire protection on site, i.e. where the fire protection, fire detection or extinguishing systems are installed.

The engineers of the Inspection Services check the system for its functionality and operational safety and ensure that the required adjustments are made in operations, if required. Included in the tests are the first approval of systems as well as regular revisions.

These tests are recognized by insurers, authorities and trade associations as expert tests.

The Inspection Services are accredited as a test center acc. to EN 45001 and EN 45004. This ensures that the requirements of the international quality management system are observed and thereby that all approvals and revisions are carried out under the same conditions and standards and with constant care. Furthermore, a central leadership and regular further training of the staff ensure a uniform and high level of testing.

The Inspection Services are ready at all times due to its branches within Germany and in other European countries.
