Laboratory for environmetal testing and EMC

The VdS laboratory for environmental testing carries out climate and mechanical environmental tests as well as tests for electrical and electronic devices for observance of the EU guidelines for low-voltage devices and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The laboratory for environmental testing has been accredited by the "Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle Technik (DATech)", confirming the competency of the laboratories according to the standards series EN ISO/IEC 17025.

We also offer our services for the EMC domain and environment tests to manufacturers of electronic equipment, beyond the approval procedure.
Furthermore we offer support for manufacturing conformity declarations and CE labelling. A multitude of measurements and inspections can be performed as proof of conformity with electro magnetic compatibility (EMC).

The VdS laboratories offer measurements and tests for mechanical and climatic environmental simulation, especially for applications in the automotive industry and resources for the railways.

A meaningful report is supplied for all measurements. Further test specification can be obtained on request.
