VdS Laboratories

VdS has got well established laboratories at its disposal, where type and system testing of products for fire and burglary protection can be performed. Besides modern technology and innovative test procedures, a pre-requisite for this is the knowledge and years of experience of employees.

VdS supports manufacturers during product development by testing prototypes up to the VdS-approved end product. This results in a competitive edge for manufacturers by reducing the time-to-market. Fast and uncomplicated inspection procedures are useful within the framework of CE labelling or VdS approval. Engineers with many years of experience are available to offer support in the selection and application of required standards and guidelines.

VdS laboratories have been accredited by the "Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle für Technik (DATech)".
